Is There Any Difference Between Kidney Cyst and Kidney Tumor

Is there any difference between kidney cyst and kidney tumor? Yes, there is. Actually, they two differ a lot from each other.

Kidney Cyst and Kidney Tumor Difference
A kidney cyst is a growth protruding out from the kidney wall, whereas a tumor typically stays closer to the wall. The cellular makeup also determines what type of growth it is. Tumors can be Renal Cancer when they are malignant.

Cysts are fluid filled spaces. Many kidneys have a few but in Polycystic Kidney Disease they can largely replace and destroy the normal tissue. Tumors are solid growths of abnormal tissue and can be benign and fairly harmless, or malignant such as Renal Cell Carcinoma or Cancer. Wilm's Tumor is a kidney cancer mainly of children under 10 years of age.

If you need to know whether a person is affected by Kidney Cyst or Kidney Tumor, renal tomography and renal arteriography can easily distinguish the two from each other. If this test is not available in your local city, there are some other home tests which can help make a rough estimation. If you need, you can get the alternative tests list by contacting kidneyask@hotmail.com or leave a message below.

Current Treatments and Pills for PKD

Polycystic Kidney Disease requires an early treatment which aims at dealing the symptoms and improving the kidney functions.

Surgery
As the PKD develops, various symptoms and severe complications may appear. And then, the doctor may suggest the surgery to remove the larger cysts to avoid further kidney damages. The surgery is like a needle to puncture in to the kidneys, then abstract the cystic liquid from the cysts, the advantage of this surgery is remove the kidney cysts quickly.

Drugs and Medications
When kidney cysts are small, doctors usually do nothing or prescript some drugs to alleviate the complication. For example, if the patients present high blood pressure, doctors will suggest them to take the medicines for high blood pressure.

Kidney Transplant
After years’ of dialysis, kidney transplant has to be put into the agenda. When you cannot make urine or just make a little urine, this treatment is very necessary. If you stop dialysis at this time, you may hardly sustain your life over time.

Dialysis
When the kidney cysts become big enough and kidney functions drop greatly, the doctors will suggest the patient to receive the dialysis to maintain the normal life, especially when their GFR is lower than 15.

Chinese therapists don’t suggest to deal with PKD only using western treatments and drugs. In the view of TCM, the key is to control the underlying kidney cysts and improve kidney function. Herbs can shrink the renal cysts naturally and repair the damaged kidneys. However, the TCM takes effects mildly and slowly. During the treatment, if mixed TCM and western treatments together, may some cases of PKD be reversed. Any help, you can contact email kidneyask@hotmail.com

Natural Diet Plan for Polycystic Kidney Disease

Polycystic Kidney Disease can be managed better with the help of natural diet plan. Here is the suggested diet suggestions for you.

● Limit daily meat intake. A great deal of creatinine is generated when meats are consumed in our body; so when we eat less meat than before, amount of creatinine generated by our body will be less therewith. Therefore, we can lower high creatinine level through reducing daily meat intake if we are suffering Polycystic Kidney Disease.

● Reduce physical activities. Meat eaten by us during our diet is not the only source of creatinine. Creatinine is produced as well when we do strenuous physical activities and this is because metabolism of our muscle also can produce creatinine. Hence, to lower high creatinine level caused by Polycystic Kidney Disease, we can reduce our physical activities.

● Avoid creatine supplements. If we are taking creatine supplement, we need to reduce the dose of it until we can give it away totally. Through supplying extra creatine, amount of creatinine can be increased therewith. Therefore, if we want to control high creatinine level in Polycystic Kidney Disease, it is necessary for us to avoid creatine supplements.

● Avoiding foods which can cause progression of Polycystic Kidney Disease. We know creatinine in the blood increases just because our kidneys are failed in excreting excessive creatinine. In this case, if kidney damages are worsened, more and more creatinine piles up in the blood, which leads to the higher creatinine level. Therefore, we must avoid these foods in our daily life.

These are the common and necessary methods of controlling high creatinine in Polycystic Kidney Disease and through these methods, high creatinine level can be decreased slightly. However, while we seeking measures for controlling high creatinine level, we must know that lowering high creatinine level should not be our ultimate goal. We lower creatinine level just because we want to avoid further kidney damages or avoid dialysis and kidney transplant. High creatinine level is caused by Polycystic Kidney Disease, so only when we treat Polycystic Kidney Disease fundamentally, can dialysis or kidney transplant be avoided effectively.Any help, you can email to kidneyask@hotmail.com
